Research: the primary-literature tracker

Where the field's real results appear. How this site reads them before anything becomes a claim.

Where real results live

New quantum-computing results appear first on arXiv quant-ph ↗ as preprints, then (sometimes much later) in refereed venues: Nature, Science, PRX Quantum, Physical Review Letters, Quantum. Hardware milestones worth believing arrive as papers with methods sections, not as press releases; the Quantum Algorithm Zoo ↗ tracks the algorithm side comprehensively.

How entries make it onto this site

A result referenced anywhere on this site carries an evidence tag (peer-reviewed, preprint, vendor, disputed, analyst or official) and a link to its primary source. Preprints are labeled as preprints until refereed. Vendor claims stay labeled vendor until independently verified. Disputes are linked, not hidden.

Tracked entries are added as they are read and verified: never generated in bulk. The dated, tagged entries currently live on the Timeline.

The seven claim/better-question pairs and the five-part diligence framework are the working method: Evaluating claims.
